Department of English
The Department of English commenced its journey from 2016 which offers B.A., English. The focus of the department is to inculcate the language and literature to the student’s community and the syllabus focuses on training students in language skills. The department has well qualified faculty and excellent infrastructure conducive to impart Literature as well as Communication Skills.
Apart from offering these regular courses, the department has several initiatives to promote Communication Skills and Personality Development of the students. Students from diverse educational backgrounds become an independent learner by engaging themselves in attending Seminars, Conferences, Vocational Training and Add on courses.
The Department takes all the efforts to provide a firm foundation in English for students of the society. The Department conducts several literary events through the English Literary Club and Communication club. It provides intensive mentoring to our students both in and beyond the classroom in a wide variety of forums. It also provides career guidance and support to get placement and do higher studies and enable the students to become successful professionals.
