Objective:
- To Prevent, Prohibit, and Redress any and all forms and instances of Ragging in the College.
- To educate the students on the meaning of ragging and what constitutes it.
- To educate the students on the ill-effects of ragging and the consequences, including legal consequences of indulging in ragging.
Functions:
- To take an affidavit from students to prohibit ragging type activities.
- Make awareness of ragging acts and punishments to students.
- Displaying posters & going rounds in classrooms, corridors and canteen to prohibit ragging.
- To make surprise raids in the places vulnerable to incidents of and having the potential of ragging.
- To conduct on the spot enquiry into any incident of ragging.
- Take feedback from first year student / Parent for any sufferings from ragging

E. S. Arts and Science College (Co-Ed) had established the ICC (internal Complaints Committee) as the Committee for managing gender related issues as per the Supreme Court Guidelines. ICC was set up not only to deal with complaints of sexual harassment of women in the workplace but also to focus on creating awareness, counselling and educating about gender issues. In addition, gender sensitization workshops for staff and students are also conducted.
The objectives of the Internal Complaint Committee to Prevent Sexual Harassment of Women at the Workplace are as follows:
- To develop a policy against sexual harassment of women at the College.
- To ensure the implementation of the policy in letter and spirit through proper reporting of the complaints and their follow-up procedures.
- To uphold the commitment of the college to provide an environment free of gender based discrimination.
- To promote a social and psychological environment to raise awareness on sexual harassment in its various forms.
- To create a secure physical and social environment to deter any act of sexual harassment.
- To evolve a permanent mechanism for the prevention and redressal of sexual harassment cases and other acts of gender based violence at the Institute.

Grievance Redressal System is a vital part of any administration. It is the responsibility of the College to provide a secure and contented environment to all its Staff and Students to represent their grievance and resolve the same. The Grievance Redressal Committee has been formed in the College as per the UGC guidelines to redress the grievances of both the staff and the students. The grievance redressal committee will resolve the issue and address the issues received.
- To accept written / online grievances from students and staff related to the system.
- To create and implement a mechanism to handle the reported grievances.
- To forward the findings to the Management if necessary for further action.
- To listen, record and scrutinize the grievances submitted to them by the Staff and Students and take necessary steps immediately.
- To represent the grievances to the concerned section which may include maintenance, transport, academic, amenities etc.
- To convene periodical meetings to discuss whether the grievances have been settled.
- To make a follow-up of these matters at regular intervals till their final disposal.
- To maintain strict confidentiality, if necessary

The Disciplinary Committee will ensure compliance of Code of Discipline and Conduct for students and will suggest suitable action in case of its violation. Disciplinary Committee maintains discipline, dignity, decorum and rapport of the institute. Controlling the students through rules and regulations and channelization their youth energy into positive and creative direction and promotion of the manners, personality, character and civilization
- To maintain the activities of college joint venture in regards to disciplinary act.
- To uplift the student’s potential and to develop them as a balanced citizen in the society.
- To scrutinize and prevent any indisciplinary activities (lack of attendance, unpunctuality, misbehaving with staff, damage to college property) and riots.
- To provide a medium through which the committee can monitor and control the discipline of its students.
Key functions of the committee:
- To make the rules and regulations as per the disciplinary requirement.
- To make the student aware about the discipline.
- To make the student follow the disciplinary rules.
- To take disciplinary act\ion against any of the misconduct.

The students Welfare Cell was established and functioning with the objective to serve the student community of the E. S. Arts and Science College. This cell aims to provide students with a comprehensive, harmonious, competent, and responsive platform to foster a positive learning environment. Also the cell plays a significant role in creating a safe and respectful learning environment where students feel secure and valued on the college campus.
Objectives:
- To provide day to day essential support needed for academic and co-curricular activities of students.
- To prepare and execute plan for wholesome development of the students.
- To advice Students Council whenever they required.
- To work with Sports, Librarian, Cultural, NSS for all matters related to students Welfare.
- Arranging for emergency Health services whenever situations arise.
- Arranging feedback sessions and resolving the issues if any through student grievance redressal cell.
