Department of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry was established in 2017. The department offers under graduate program leading to the degree, Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. A team of dedicated teachers with rich in experience in teaching accommodate the latest developments in the department. We reach the local community through outreach programs, to achieve goals of inclusion, equity and diversity. Being a general Course in Chemistry, students can acquire a good knowledge of industrial, polymer, agricultural, food, applied and medicinal Chemistry. The basic thrust is on developing core competence in chemistry and exploration of new ideas through original thinking and discovering new layers of knowledge to the students to meet the requirements of the society. The department organizes National Conference, Science Exhibition, Guest Lectures, International webinar is conducted for students every year.
