About the department
Head of department: R. Manikandan
The Department of English has taught B.A. English since 2016. It teaches English language and literature, with a strong focus on language and communication skills.
Students from very different school backgrounds learn to study on their own through seminars, conferences, vocational training and add-on courses. The English Literary Club and the Communication Club run literary events through the year, and teachers mentor students in and outside the classroom and guide them towards jobs and higher studies.
