Department of Biotechnology
B.Sc Biotechnology is a 3-year undergraduate course, divided into six semesters that deal with the study of living organisms and biological systems, as well as the advanced technology involved in studying the same. Department enhances the knowledge base of students and creates research curiosity among students generating highly skilled human resource. The autonomy brings into force industry and research oriented syllabus and hour based curriculum helps the students to excel their knowledge towards innovate, incubate ideas and nurture the needs of society. Graduates of the course can have job opportunities in drug and pharmaceutical research, environment control, and waste management. It aims to provide a setting that lab, supports, and stimulates the student’s intellectual, professional, and personal development. The curriculum supports students’ overall growth and equips them with the skills necessary to succeed in today’s fast-paced environment.

Internship/Industrial Visit
To make the students encouraging about Gardening and Horticulture, Internship and industrial visit is mandatory for the students. Department will guide the students to complete the internship and to go Botanical Garden visit.
